Dr. Buddensiek will discuss why the evidence is clear that palliative care improves patient care and quality outcomes for communities. This talk will help empower you to make the case for greater investment in palliative care with organizational leaders, health plans, colleagues, and community partners.

Dr. Neal Buddensiek, MD, CMD, Obi.SB, serves as Chief Medical Officer for Benedictine where he consults on medical care delivery and coordinates activities with community medical directors. He serves as the medical director of hospices in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. Dr. Buddensiek is board certified in Internal Medicine. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and received his medical training at Creighton University School of Medicine and Abbott Northwestern Hospital’s internal medicine residency program.
